I am linking up with Doodle Bugs Teaching and joining in the Five for Friday fun! This is my first link up with this linky party, so here are my five things from this week.

As I have posted many of times this week, I finished my 5th Grade Math Quick Checks! Super excited that I got those done and posted this past weekend! Check them out here.

Target Dollar Spot finds. If you have been on Instagram at any point this summer, you know what amazing things have been found at the most amazing store ever. The most exciting things I found were the United States maps and the square adhesive labels. I have bought way to may adhesive labels, but you don't know if they are going to have them next year, so I am staying prepared.

I went to Hobby Lobby this week and picked up these amazing lap desks that I saw on someone's Instagram. (If you know who, let me know in the comments and I will give that person credit.) I don't technically do flexible seating in my room, but my kids are allowed to sit where ever they want when they work independently. I thought these lap desks would be a great option for those who like to sit on the floor. They are relatively cheap, only $7! Get yours here

I am so excited to be implementing a house system into my classroom this year. I am so thankful for Ellise from Faith Fun Fifth because she wrote a wonderful blog post about it, and I cannot wait to get started in my own classroom. I am going to use the Ron Clark house names, and I recently finished what I am going to hang up in my classroom. I cannot wait to see the friendships this brings in my classroom next year!

I am heading home today! I live in Indianapolis for those who don't know, and I grew up in Evansville, Indiana, a city in southern Indiana (the toe of the boot when looking at a map of Indiana). I get to spend a good chunk of time at home with my mom and dad. I get to show them all of my pictures from my Europe trip.
Happy Friday! I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend with family, friends, fireworks, fun, and food!
You have been way more productive than I have this summer!
